You Can Get Cheap or Free Software to Produce Your Ebook!

Posted under pet discount

Internet experts all agree, for real Internet success and to make serious money online, you need to create your own product.

But what if you are a newbie? You are not an Internet expert yet. So what have you got to say?

You don’t have to write about the Net. There are already loads of books about all aspects of Internet marketing, and more are coming online every day. You probably will not want to compete in this area.

Write about something you are passionate about. When I was on a postgraduate creative writing course, one of my fellow students told me she wanted to be told what to write about. I thought that was weird. Don’t you know what you care about? Write about your passion, your hobby. Your readers will pick up on your enthusiasm.

You could also write about something you hate. Maybe you can’t stand to do the dishes. Or you hate paying bills at the end of every month (who doesn’t?). You can attract many readers who share your pet hates and you can share with them your strategies for getting around these chores.

Or maybe you just want to get away from it all. Produce an eBook about your recent vacation, complete with photographs. There will probably be loads of other people who are considering vacationing there, or who are looking for a new holiday destination.

If you don’t think you have useful or valuable things to say, you can always interview other people whom you admire and who you think are contributing to people’s lives.

One of the great things about conducting interviews is that I get to meet people who are contributing to our community, making a real difference in people’s lives.

Another great thing about interviewing people is that I have learned so much. For example, when I interviewed coach and speaker Shoal Area, for more details visit to www.create-free-pdf.com she told me her method for helping people to find the money to attend her courses and trainings. People would approach her and ask her for a discount and, at first, she would give discounts. But once she realized that her business was suffering because she was losing income, she found a different strategy which helped everyone to win.

You can get cheap or free software to produce your eBook. For example, pdf 995 lets you produce pdfs for free or, for a one-off payment, you can get a version that does not include advertising.

Be sure to include links to your products in the eBook to help you bring targeted traffic to your site. Your readers already have an interest in your products so this is an effective way of attracting customers within a niche market.

If you are an affiliate marketer, you can also include links to your affiliate programs. It’s important that you include fresh, for more details visit to www.easy-pdf-toolkit.com original content from your own personal experience. This is what will keep your readers’ interest and make them want to come back for more. If you have used affiliate marketing strategies that work, write about that.

If your strategies have produced results that you were not happy about, you can write about that too. What mistakes have you made, and what have you learned from them? What would you do differently next time? Your readers may learn the most from your descriptions of what has not gone exactly to plan.

Once you have completed your eBook, you will need to advertise it. There are many eBook directories where you can list your products, such as the one on my site (see About the Author below).

You will need to decide whether you want to sell your eBook or give it away for free. Free eBooks are brilliant for viral marketing because website owners can give away your eBooks from their sites or send them to their list. So ultimately, millions of people all over the world may read your eBook and click on your links.

If you attract advertisers for your product, you can give it away for free and still make money. For example, if you wrote about your vacation, you may be able to get a travel company to advertise in or sponsor your eBook.

Why do people think vets should discount services or allow you to make payments?

Posted under pet discount

I haven't been on here very long, but a lot of you seem to think that vet's should allow people to make payments. Why? You took on the responsbility of an animal- you need to take care of it. If you can't pay for vet services- don't get an animal. Do you go to the grocery store and say "OOPS- can you bill me, I don't have enough money this week." Veterinary offices are buisnesses just like everywhere else- they have bills, overhead, inventory and staff to pay. It is not their responsiblity to take care of your sick pet when you can't afford it. I mean seriously- do I go to your place of work and ask for a payment plan? Do breeders allow you to make payments on the pup you bought? Before you get an animal- make sure you can afford it. You can expect to average around $350- $500 PER PET a year just in vet services- vaccines, heartworm prevention and dental cleanings. So, then you can add in another $200+ for a high quality food. Emergency= $1000+. Can you afford this???

I have been a vet tech for 17 years and was around back when making payments was commonplace. The sad truth is that the vets got screwed at least 70% of the time!!!!!
All these people on here want the vet to take payments and think they will MAKE the payments, but when it comes right down to it, they don't. Many do not even have a credit card, and if you can't even get that, why does a vet think you are a good risk????? They are not in the loan business.
Doctors kind of have to treat people and allow payments, it is the law. Vets do not. Pets are not a right, they are in fact a luxury!!! Kind of like a Corvette. If you can't afford a Vette, you don't get one….but people get all kinds of cheap and free pets and think they won't need a vet…the last pet never got sick until it dropped dead. So they go on thinking they will never need a vet, and one day..POOF!….a sick pet. Then they are all down on the vets because they will not make their lives easier by taking payments that they will never get. It is another reason why vet costs are so high!! People do not pay, or bounce a check and then the vet has to write off that money and the rest of us pay for it in higher costs!!!!!!
These type people will never get any better. They think the world owes them and if there is nobody standing there offering to help them, then the rest of us are bad and don't care!!!! These people HAVE computers and internet service!!!!! I have not read any post here that says someone will go and hock their computer to get vet care for the pet!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is easler for them to cry about it here!!!!!

And yes, I HAVE had a problem…a dog needing a hip replacement…and I got a CREDIT CARD to pay for it!!!! It was my problem, not the vets. I provide for my pets. I do not expect the vet to do it for me!!!!!!!!!! I also set aside a MONTHLY amount for pet care and put it in an account!!! That is what people do to ensure the pets can have care if they need it!!!!

Where do you draw the line for vets??? What if you bring a cat in that was hit by a car. The vet says it will cost $500 to TRY and save the cat. You say you do not have it but will make payments. The vet..if he was going to pay it himself, would euthanize the cat because he cannot foot such a high bill….but you are going to make payments so he goes ahead and treats it. $400 later and the cat dies anyway. Then you have a high vet bill and no cat. So you don't pay. How is that fair to the vet??????
Then he can either eat the cost, or shell out MORE money to send you to collections and probably still not get it. Now the next time you go to the vet, costs are higher.
People need to plan better. That is the bottom line!! ANd take more responsibility for your own pets….or maybe you should get insurance for them!!!!!!

Any Interesting Or Uncommon Facts?

Posted under canine cooler

Hey…I looooovvveee to learn new things about horses. Especially interesting little facts that not a lot of people know. So do you have any interesting facts that you would like to share?

Mine:
**Did you know that prehistoric horses had THREE toes? and were the size of medium sized dogs? lol. **cool zoology project informed me of this**

Not uncommon, but could educate someone:
**Normal body temperature is 99 – 101 F. A healthy horse's temperature can vary by 3 degrees depending on environmental factors.
**The pulse rate of an adult horse at rest averages 30-40 beats per minute (bpm). The average pulse rates for young horses are as follows:
Foals (70-120 bpm), Yearlings (45-60 bpm), 2yr. olds (40-50 bpm).
**The average respiration rate of an adult horse at rest is 8-15 breaths per minute.
**Adult female horses (mares) usually have 36 teeth. A mare may have up to 40 teeth if she happens to have any canine teeth, which is possible but less common. Adult males have between 40 and 44 teeth. (These don't include wolf teeth)
**A horse's upper jaw is wider than its lower jaw.
**The average horse's heart weighs approximately 9 or 10 pounds. The great American racehorse Secretariat had a heart estimated during his autopsy to weigh 21 pounds.
**Horses produce approximately 10 gallons of saliva a day.
**The tallest horse on record was a Shire. He was 21.2 hands (7 feet, 2 inches) tall.
**The oldest horse on record is "Old Billy," an English barge horse. He was 62 years old when he died, living from 1760 to 1822.
**The record for the longest jump over water is held by a horse named Something who jumped 27 feet, 6 and 3/4 inches on April 25, 1975 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
**Horses cannot breathe through their mouths.
**A horse's splint bones are thought to be remnants of toes from prehistoric horses.

I really like learning about equine health. =D So….what's your facts?

The average horse's head weighs 11.84 pounds.

A horse's heart weighs about 10 pounds.

Horses expend more energy lying down than they do when they are standing up.

Rabbits are more closely related to horses than they are to rats or mice

Liquid nutrition for cats?

Posted under canine supplements

My oldest cat is right around 20 years old. Throughout his whole life, we have had to deal with tooth and gum problems. Last spring, we finally had to have his last two teeth (canines) removed, because we simply could not get rid of the chronic gingivitis. Eating can be a challenge for him now, but he does pretty well with the food I give him (the Whiskas pouches with lots of gravy, etc.) and he does choose to eat dry food at times. Yet I feel like I could be getting him some better nutrition. He does not like the ground/pate type foods. Any thoughts on a liquid supplement, or something to help him eat healthier?

"Nutri-Cal" (it's for cats and dogs).. it comes in a tube, you squeeze it out and you can simply just stick it in your cat's mouth. I sometimes put it where my cats' mouths are and they lick it off. I don't think it would affect your kitty's teeth in any way, though I'm not 100% positive. The box reads: "Quality nutrition energizer for picky eaters, High calorie palatable supplement!" There's calcium, protein, and plenty of vitamins in the ingredients. My aunt has given it to her eighteen year old Siamese and that beautiful cat still can attack, I'll tell ya. She got me the other day. I hope your cat lives for years to come!
