i have a 10 month old GSD…he weighs 70-75lbs…and he looks really thin…i feed him 2.5 cups in the AM and PM…totalling 5 cups…am thinking of putting him on this supplement…what are the pros and cons?
If he is a genuine GSD (instead of an AlsatiOn or a NAmerican Ski-Slope Dog or a Titanic Tail-Tucker) he is actually right in the "average" slot.

It is likely that you are unaware that a GSD is a HERDING dog designed to patrol a boundary for up to 14 hours a day. Because it must cover such distances, from 5 months onwards it should be built like a champion marathon runner – hard, lean, wiry.
The only supplement a heallhy dog needs are the cooked table scraps from healthy meals that healthy families cook for themselves. The only "No no"s are fish needles and baked/roasted bones, plus any very "biting" spices. (But mine enjoy the small amount of chilli I put in my stews.).
