heartguard Plus only prevents heartworms, hookworms and roundworms. Frontline Plus protects the dog from fleas. Should I give my dog Bayer Drontal Plus to protect him from other worms, too? Isn’t it too much of medication for him. He is 6 months old.
We moved to Asia for a few years. They only have Heartguard against heartworms.

Talk to your vet. This depends on where you live. I don’t think that I’d give drontal as you’re doubling up on the intestional parasite protection. Both the heartgard plus and drontal have pyrantel so you could easily cause toxicity by giving both of these medications at the same time. Instead of heartgard plus and drontal, ask your vet about iverhart max which takes care of most of the parasites that are covered by heartgard plus and drontal. It’s much cheaper too..

If you gave it two weeks ago – she isn’t having a reaction to it. However, you should bring your dog to the vet for these symptoms – or at the very least call and tell them what’s going on!
For future reference the symptoms of an overdose or reaction to Heartgard are typically:
Disorientation, blindness and stumbling, weakness, vomiting, coma, drooling, and tremors.

A little history of this first video. I Filmed the video using a just purchased Panasonic Lumix TZ1. I was bicycling through Venice Beach California when I came upon the skateboarding dog. This was probably the only time I used the Lumix’s wide screen movie mode.
I suspect one of the biggest reasons my video was selected, second only to the awesome Tillman, was not much user generated 16:9 content was available on youtube.(iphone is 16:9) Originally the first video had the soundtrack “Giving In” by linkin Park. Once the video appeared in iphone commercials I panicked and removed the video from youtube because of the attention and I had no rights to use the song. As time approached for Apple’s release of the iphone with youtube, youtube contacted me and requested I reinstate the video without the soundtrack. Youtube wanted users to be able to view the skateboarding dog in the store and after purchasing their iphone. Unfortunately youtube gave me only a few hours to re-edited video before the iphone release. The original background sound on most of the clips was ruined by hysterical laughter from a woman watching Tillman so I cut and pasted sound in from other parts of the video to cover the laughter. That’s why some claim they here the word eskimo over and over-lol. When the original video with the Linkin Park soundtrack was selected it had around 15,000 views.

I want to no if i could give the Canine Red Cell (Iron and Mineral Supplement) to a 6 or 7 week kitten
i was wondering because i gave a kitten from a litter of 4 to my friend and all of the other 3 kittens have died when they seemed fat and healthy and i was jsut worrying for my friendz cat now cause shes rly attached 2 it alrdy and id feel terrible if it died
Red cell?! dont give any animal cat, dog, pig, or horse any red cell unless they have a drop of iron in their blood, if one does give an animal more iron than needed; the results are death. there are many types of ways to determine if they need it. check the inside of their lips, if they are white than they are low on iron. ( i never really had to check a cat for iron drops but this works on goats, horses, and dogs) lip tissue gets its pinkness from the color of blood that flows in it. if you are really worried than you should go have her checked out by a vet.
