I haven’t gotten a prescription started for heartguard plus yet, but i have a sample given to me from the owner of the mother of my pup. should i feed him the entire dose if the dose is for dogs up to 25 lbs? i feel like it’s and overdose amount for a 3 pound dog.
he’s a poodle chihuahua mix about 13 weeks old
Don’t self-diagnose….get him in for his initial vet visit, something needed anyway, and have the vet provide you with appropriate prescription for a pup his size and age.

Nana, my amazing clicker-trained Border Collie, featured on Animal Planet’s “America’s Cutest Dog II”. I’m so proud of my girl! All the Border Collie clips are Nana. And no, none of the videos are played backwards.

I’m just curious, things such as Cop cars? Badge? Gun? Uniform? Whatever is on their belt. Wallets?(are cop wallets normal wallets with a badge on it or are they special wallets just for the cops). I live in Ontario. Canada, but it doesn’t matter, anywhere is fine. Thanks in advance.
I know that the Canine unit gets to take home the dog with them….so that’s pretty cool.
A lot depends on the agency you work for. Some large agencies keep locker rooms available for the officer, where he changes out of civilian clothing and puts on the uniform and equipment.
The large majority of agencies issue uniforms to the officer or simply give him the money to buy them (uniform allowance). Handguns are either issued by the agency or the officer can supply his own – depending on what the policy is. That is same with most equipment carried or used by the officer. Devices like a Taser and Pepper Spray are always issued by the agency because of liability and training concerns.
Whether the department issues the equipment or the officer buys it, it usually all goes home with the officer. During my years in Law Enforcement, the only thing I left at the station was my portable radio. Speciality items like a sniper rifle or a full auto weapon stays at the station armory.
Some agencies will allow the officer to take home the patrol car. Small and medium sized agencies do this most often. The advantage to the agency is not having the expense of storing cars and having the officer immediately available and equiped to work in the event of an emergency call out and an officer that can start his routine work shift the minute he leaves his house. For the officer the advantage is having his patrol all to himself and not having to drive his personal car to the station. Agencies have also found that issued patrol cars are better cared for than motor pool cars, that equals fewer repair bills.
The wallet you ask about is a badge carrier. There are several different styles. My old badge carrier was simply a folded leather carrier, not a wallet. Some wallets do have a cutout of a badge, but I always found them awkward to use with all the other crap I tended to stuff into my wallet.
