Soon enough though I found out that he lived in a care home that houses developmentally challenged adults. I thought it was strange, but I just figured I shouldn't be so judgemental. Shortly after we met he went off his meds. He started talking about people listening to his conversations and he kept repeating certain words over and over again. Then he stopped sleeping completely. He was fighting and arguing with the people in the home. Soon enough he began dressing exclusively in the same karate suit as his everyday wear. This went on for weeks. I tried to tell the people in his home, but they brushed me off. Then he began calling me up all hours of the nite talking about he was a living corpse & that he was special because his canine teeth were longer then anyone else's in his family. I ended up cussing him out & I changed my number. He hasn't contacted me since. Was this the rite way 2 handle the situation?
The people in his home were keeping him on a short leash because he was causing so much trouble for them. He kept stealing pornography (movies and magazines) from stores and I guess it was against house rules to have them there. He made a huge fuss over it and called the owner of the house and she said he could have it. They were also letting him smoke marijuana and God knows what else. I didn't exactly want to get involved because I know there is so much red tape in the mental health system that I wouldn't get anywhere. Telling the people was as far as I wanted to go. This all happened about six months ago and I haven't talked to him since.<!--

I called him schizo because that's what he told me he was. Plus I witnessed his strange behavior with my own eyes. I was driving down the street one day and I stopped at the stoplight and saw him walking by himself carrying on a big conversation. No one was around him and he didn't have headphones on either. I even asked him about it and he said that he was just going over what he was planning on doing the rest of the day. That's when I knew something was definitely wrong with him. I thought when people talked to themselves like that they're hearing voices that they must answer. Isn't that schizophrenia? He was supposed to be taking some medicine called seriquil. Yea and I definitely know now that people like this can be very dangerous and that any type of relationship is almost always going to fail.

Since you are NOT a professional, don't try to handle this guy at all. They can be very dangerous at times and you're never sure what it's going to take to set them off. Extremely unpredictable. Let the doctors take care of him through the family. Turn the other way and run as fast as you can. It could be very dangerous for you.
